29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end: a. North side of subdivision entrance tower, On or about October 16, 2014, employees were exposed to falls greater than 10 feet in height to the ground level below, when working from the work platform of the scaffold, which had ends of scaffold planks extended approximately 2 1/2 feet to 4 feet, while installing the cinder blocks to the wall. b. East side of subdivision entrance tower, On or about October 16, 2014, employees were exposed to falls greater than 10 feet in height to the ground level below, when working from the work platform of the scaffold, which had ends of scaffold planks extended approximately 2 1/2 feet to 4 feet, while installing the cinder blocks to the wall. c. South side of subdivision entrance tower, On or about October 16, 2014, employees were exposed to falls greater than 10 feet in height to the ground level below, when working from the work platform of the scaffold, which had ends of scaffold planks extended approximately 2 1/2 feet to 4 feet, while installing the cinder blocks to the wall. d.
