29 CFR 1910.1053(f)(2)(i)(B): The exposure control plan did not contain a description of the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection used to limit employee exposure to respirable crystalline silica for each task. a. On or about November 28, 2019, for the elevator, the employer's written respirable crystalline silica exposure control plan did not contain work practice controls for boot pit cleaning including, but not limited to restricting operation of elevator legs when an employee is in the boot pit which exposes employees to respirable crystalline silica.
