29 CFR 1910.107(c)(3): Adequate precautions were not taken to prevent the ignition of combustible dusts by distancing hot surfaces away from powder coat operations: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fire hazards in that the open flame of one of the ovens was visible within 17 feet of the powder coat booth area. This exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards.
