29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On or about July 16, 2021, and at times prior, the employer did not provide effective information and training to the employees prior to handling and use of the hazardous chemicals used in their workplace. This condition potentially exposed employees to products that contain hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited to, A/C Pro R134a refrigerant, X-tra seal rubber prep solution, Case Company liquid tire lube concentrate, and Case Company bead sealer.
