29 CFR 1915.7(c): The employer did not ensure the competent persons had the knowledge and skills described in 1915.7(c)(1) through (7): a) Shipyard - On or about January 19, 2018 the employer allowed employees to enter confined and enclosed spaces to perform work such as but not limited to pulling electrical wire, Plumping, Pipe fitting, arc welding and cutting with a torch without ensuring the competent person on site had the required skills and knowledge to perform the role as described in 1915.7(c)(1) through (7).
