29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure: 1) that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by the employees, and 2) that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls were acquired by the employees: (a) Zimmerman Manufacturing, LLC, 125 King Court, New Holland, PA - The employer did not provide training to all authorized, affected, and other employees to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood and implemented at the facility, thus exposing employees to possible injuries, on or about May 31, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
