29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: a) At the facility 1199 Newbridge Road North Bellmore, NY 11710. On or about February 28th, 2025, Employees engaged in car washing and quick lube operation utilized products such as but not limited to detergents , soaps, acid, solvents degreaser, waxes, motor oil, antifreeze, and transmissions fluids. Products such as antifreeze, cleaner and degreasers are corrosive and contains ethylene glycol, ammonium bifluoride and Hydrofluoric acid. Employees were not provided with information and training on hazardous chemicals in the work area. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19
