29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that covered when PPE is necessary, what PPE is necessary, how to don, doff, adjust and wear PPE, the limitations of PPE and the proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE: On or about November 29, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees performing tasks including but not limited to heat treat, and painting area received training on when and what PPE is necessary while performing the task, how to don, doff, adjust and wear PPE; the limitations of PPE;� and the proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE. Employees wear the following PPE to include but not limed to safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection, googles, aluminized coats, and high heat hard hat are required when performing different job tasks.
