29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): Scrapers, spuds, or other such tools used for cleaning purposes were not of nonsparking material: The employer does not ensure that tools used to clean spray booths were constructed from non-spark producing material. This violation was observed on or about March 22, 2021, at the facility, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to ensure non-spark producing material is used when cleaning the spray booths.
