29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1):The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: UTCRAS Inc., located at 501 Highland Ave. Morton, PA: (a) Violation noted on May 5, 2021. The employer did not make available audiometric testing for employees working in Building O and Building U and exposed to continuous noise levels that were equivalent to 67.22% (Painter) and 89.41% (Welder) of the allowable 50% dose for an 8 hour-time average (TWA). These exposures are equivalent to an 8 hours TWA of 87.1 dBA and 89.1 dBA respectively, exceeding the OSHA Action Level of 85.0 dBA. Sampling times were 336 and 264 minutes respectively. Zero exposures were assumed for all unsampled time periods.
