29 CFR 1910.110(f)(7): LP gas container storage location(s) were not provided with at least one approved portable fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 8-B, C: The employer does not ensure the LP gas container storage location was being provided with an approved portable fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 8-B,C. This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the maintenance area, where LPG containers were stored by the greenhouse. LPG containers expose employees to fire and explosion hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure the LP gas container storage location was being provided with an approved portable fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 8-B,C.
