29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a.) On or about January 16, 2019, the employer did not ensure electricians were protected while performing work on or near 480V circuits. Employees were required to regrease knives above the 480V fuses in the main switch gear for the big Banbury mixer and did not wear required hand and body protection while verifying zero energy, exposing them to electrical shock and arc flash hazards.
