29 CFR 1910.144(a)(1)(iii): Emergency stop buttons or switches which letters or other markings appear, used for emergency stopping of machinery were not red. a) On or about 10/15/2018 in the machine shop, employee's finger was amputated when his finger got caught between two parts as he cycled the broach machine. Employee was unable to turn broach machine off in a timely manner because the emergency stop button was not painted red. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
