29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. a. On or about August 17, 2018 in the Barn 30 Feed Bin Pad Area, employees were engaged in maintenance activities that required lockout/tagout, while replacing a feed bin auger motor's drive belt. The employer did not document or utilize any specific lockout/tagout procedures for the replacement of auger motor drive belts.
