29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes. a) Packaging lab, 50 Frontage Road, Andover, MA On or about March 20, 2018, the employer did not select and require employees to wear appropriate hand protection while working with chemicals including, but not limited to methyl iodide, and sulfuric acid. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 1904.19(d)
