29 CFR 1910.1027(k)(5): Shoveling, dry or wet sweeping and brushing were used where vacuuming or other methods that minimize the likelihood of cadmium becoming airborne had not be tried and/or had been found effective. a) On June 28, 2017, eWorks Electronic Services, Inc. did not ensure that floors in the Baler and in the Cathode Ray Tube Line areas were not dry swept to remove dust and debris that contained cadmium. A wipe sample collected from the broken funnel glass from the Cathode Ray Tube Line contained up to 169.1 µg of cadmium.
