29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) On or about 11/8/2016, In the facility: Employees were performing maintenance and die changes on equipment such as, but not limited to mechanical power presses, turret press, and a tumbler. The equipment had energy sources such as electrical, pneumatic, and potential energies. The company had not provided any training in regards to perform lock out/ energy control procedures. Abatement certification is required for this item.
