29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: On January 15, 2016 an employee was observed not wearing head protection to protect from splashes of molten aluminum when skimming the large ladles in the main foundry area. A & B Foundry & Machining LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 737142, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on December 18, 2013.
