29 CFR 1910.184(c)(6): Slings were not securely attached to their loads: (a) Warehouse - Employees used a sling that did not have functioning safety latches on each of the two hooks. The sling was used to lift 75 gallon "Coca-Cola" syrup tanks. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from tanks coming free from the hooks during lifts on or about, March 6, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
