29 CFR 1910.1027(i)(2)(ii): The employer did not assure that no employee takes cadmium-contaminated protective clothing or equipment from the workplace, except for employees authorized to do so for purposes of laundering, cleaning, maintaining, or disposing of cadmium contaminated protective clothing and equipment at an appropriate location or facility away from the workplace. (a) AECOM, Building 57 - The employer did not assure that no employee(s) who were exposed to cadmium above the permissible exposure limit take their cadmium-contaminated clothing home to launder. An abrasive blast employee was overexposed to cadmium at a rate of 13.1ug/M3 on March 7, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
