29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4)(ii)(B): Where connected to a branch circuit supplying two or more receptacles or outlets, a receptacle may not supply a total cord- and plug-connected load in excess of the maximum specified in Table S-4: Kitchen: Behind the Vulcan refrigerator unit, a 15-amp relocatable power tap was used to energize a Sharp R-21LCF 14-amp Microwave Oven. NOTE: Table S-4 states that on a 15 or 20 amp circuit, a 15-amp receptacle has a maximum load of 12-amps.
