29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Super Stud Building Products, Inc./Edison, NJ site: Throughout the facility: Employees were not provided with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard was introduced into their work area. Employees are exposed to chemicals, such as but not limited to: - toluene, acetone, and xylene (contained in Touch n'Tone, All-purpose Household Spray Paint), - acetone and xylene (contained in Rust Oleum Ultra Cover 2X). Condition observed on/or about July 23, 2012.
