One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to correct this hazard is to conduct annual inspections of the cranes. Reference: ANSI B30.16-1981, Section 16-2.1.3: Periodic Inspection. Complete inspections of the hoist shall be performed at intervals as defined in 16-2.1.1(b)(2)
