29 CFR 1910.134(f)(6): Qualitative fit tests were performed on negative pressure air-purifying respirators when the required fit factor was greater than 100. a) 3008 Penns Valley Pike, Centre Hall, PA 16828 - On or about October 25, 2023, employees wore the MSA Advantage 3200 Full-Face Air Purifying Respirator to change oil on the ammonia system and were only provided with a qualitative fit test for a respirator that has a fit factor of 500. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
