29 CFR 1910.268(f)(1): Rubber insulating equipment designed for the voltage levels to be encountered shall be provided and the employer shall ensure that they are used by employees as required by this section. The requirements of �� 1910.137, Electrical Protective Equipment, shall be followed except for Table I-6. a. Located along the powerline easement in the vicinity of 11250 Township Road 67, Killbuck, Ohio: On or about September 06, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees used electrical protective equipment, such as, but not limited to, rubber insulating gloves, to attach a fiber optic cable to a support strand to ensure that employees were insulated from an energized 7,200-volt overhead powerline, thereby exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
