29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. At an establishment located at 805 Ogden Street in Marinette, Wisconsin: a) On or about May 12, 2023, in the Mill Room on Line 4B, a flexible electrical cord from a retractable reel equipped with a receptacle outlet was pulled away from the receptacle, exposing the internal conductors. The flexible cord was not provided strain relief at the outlet end of the cord to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to the joint.
