29 CFR 1926.452(w)(6)(ii): Employees were allowed to ride on scaffolds were the height to base width ratio of the scaffold during movement was greater than two to one or less, and the scaffold was not designed and constructed to meet or exceed nationally recognized stability test requirements such as those listed in paragraph (x) of Appendix A to this subpart (ANSI/SIA A92.5 and A92.6). (a) At the jobsite, during painting: On or about 11/10/22, an employee was allowed to ride on a Werner SRS-72 Steel Rolling Scaffold with a height to base ratio of 6:1 while the scaffold was moved. The scaffold was not equipped with manufacturer-recommended outriggers to maintain stability.
