29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Hillandale Farms doing business as Hillandale Farms Ohio, LLC. located at 9715 Rosedale Road in Hicksville, Ohio 43526. On or about May 2, 2022 the employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area. Employees performing maintenance operations in the chicken barns and manure sheds were exposed to hazards associated with chicken manure and 221 Moly Ultra NLGI 1 and 2 Lubricants such, as but not limited to, irritation to eyes, nose, and throat, pulmonary edema, cough, and fertility damage.
