29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about: March 24, 2022 Location: 131 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY 10601 a) (Unprotected planked access) employees engaged in erecting/dismantling scaffold activities climbed onto leading edge wall to access (2) planked bridged that crossed over approximately 4ft section to third level scaffold platform. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30ft to the ground below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 03/24/2022.
