29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2): Temporary wiring. Except as specifically modified in this paragraph, all other requirements of this subpart for permanent wiring shall also apply to temporary wiring installations. (a) During the week of January 3, 2022, at an establishment located at 1740 Cofrin Drive, Suite #2, in Green Bay, Wisconsin; in the Refurbish Area, an extension cord was used as permanent wiring when connect to the electrical retractable drop for powering equipment such as but not limited to hand sanders and heat guns exposing employees to electrical shock hazards. (b) On or about January 11, 2022, at an establishment located at 1740 Cofrin Drive, Suite #2, in Green Bay, Wisconsin; in the Refurbish area, extension cords were being used as permanent wiring when connected to the portable relocatable power taps (power strips) exposing employees to electrical shocks hazard. (c) On or about January 11, 2022, at an establishment located at 1740 Cofrin Drive, Suite #2, in Green Bay, Wisconsin; in the Parts area, an orange extension cord was being used as permanent wiring when connected to the portable relocatable power tap (power strips) which powered computer screens, printer, and laptops. (d) On or about January 11, 2022, at an establishment located at 1740 Cofrin Drive, Suite #2, in Green Bay, Wisconsin; in the Warehouse area, extension cords were being used as permanent wiring when connected to the five relocatable power taps (power strips) to power the RanPak Pad Pak Guardian, computer screens, computer towers, and Rigid shop vacuum.
