29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. a. On or about January 5, 2022, employer failed to protect the employee by allowing the employees to work in close proximity of a forklift while the air pallets were wet, causing the floor to be slippery, thereby exposing the employees to a struck-by hazard that resulted in the employee being hospitalized.
