29 CFR 1926.1060(b): Retraining was not provided for each employee as necessary so that the employee maintains the understanding and knowledge acquired through compliance with this section. Site: 289 3rd Ave in Brooklyn, NY. a) On or about 11/1/2021, employees on site used an A - Frame stepladder in a way for which it was not designed. The A-Frame ladder leaned against the building wall and was closed. Employees used the ladder to access and egress the roof area. The employer did not provide retraining for each employee as required, so that the employee maintains the understanding and knowledge to recognize hazards associated with ladder use.
