29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with improper use of a step ladder on a construction site. This was most recently documented on October 14, 2021, at the residential construction site located at the corner of SW Valley Drive and SW Meadowood Drive, Grain Valley, Missouri. Employees were using the front side of a portable A-frame ladder to access and egress a trench.
