29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Shelton Land and Cattle, LTD. DBA Shelton Dairy Corp., 22656 County Road 42, LaSalle, CO 80645: On and preceding March 30, 2021, the employer employer had not provided employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their workplace. The employer did not train employees on the elements of this standard. The employer did not train employees on the written hazard communication program. b) Shelton Land and Cattle, LTD. DBA Shelton Dairy Corp., 22656 County Road 42, LaSalle, CO 80645: On and preceding March 30, 2021, the employer had not provided employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their workplace. The employer did not train employees on the elements of this standard. The employer did not ensure that employees knew how to locate safety data sheets. Hazardous chemicals used in the workplace include, but are not limited to: 1. Formic acid; 2. Poly-Sheen Acid Cleaner; 3. Blitz; and 4. FC-350 Acid Concentrate.
