Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003B Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: a.) Building Integrated Services, LLC., Compressor Room substation area located at 2424 West 23rd Street, Erie, PA, on or about December 12th, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to a fire hazard while utilizing denatured alcohol on shop rags to clean near live electrical components. Training on the physical and health hazards of the denatured alcohol had not been provided to employees onsite. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
