29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(i): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 2A, was not provided for each 3,000 square feet of the protected building area, or major fraction thereof and the travel distance from any point of the protected area to the nearest fire extinguisher exceeded 100 feet: a) Lot 97 Coursey's Point Subdivision Felton, DE 19943 - On or about November 6, 2020; The employer did not provide any type of required fire extinguishing equipment at the site where employees worked with flammable materials including but not limited to gasoline, wood, paper and ignition sources were present including but not limited to heat and spark producing equipment, compromised electrical components. The nearest fire department is a volunteer depart and is approximately 8 miles away if it had to respond in the event of a fire.
