29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about December 17, 2020, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazard and the employer failed to provide strain relief to prevent pull from being transmitted to joints or terminal screws for the following: a) Southside of shop, Weldwire Positioning Equipment WWRD-30 Drive Rail with torn outer insulation and ineffective strain relief for the orange foot pedal control; and b) Southside of shop, Weldwire Positioning Equipment WWRD-30 Drive Rail with torn outer insulation and ineffective strain relief for the grey foot pedal control.
