29 CFR 1910.212(b): Machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were not securely anchored to prevent walking or moving: A.) Microtech Knives, Inc., 300 Chestnut Street Ext., Bradford, PA 16701, tumbling area, on or about December 12, 2019 and times prior thereto: Employees operate a Burr King belt sander for operations that include, but are not limited to, sanding nubs off of parts. The pedestal for the belt sander was not anchored to the floor. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
