29 CFR 1910.252(a)(1)(ii): When the object to be welded or cut could not be moved and all the fire hazards could not be removed, guards were not used to confine the heat, sparks, and slag to protect the immovable fire hazards: (a) Pre-Drier - On or about 8/19/19, the employer did not ensure that guards were used to confine sparks and slag from combustible materials within 35 feet of the welding area, exposing employees to fire hazards.
