29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee who was involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question: a) Auditorium, Exterior Wall, AV Storage Side of Building of Building - On or about June 14, 2019, and times prior thereto, an employee who operated a ProSeries mast climbing work platform scaffold system was not trained by an individual knowledgeable in mast climbing work platform scaffold requirements. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
