29 CFR 1926.502(d)(11): Lifelines were not protected against being cut or abraded: a) South side of roof, east end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof while connected to ropes that were passing over/in contact with sheet metal roof brackets, and not protected from abrasion, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 26 feet 3 inches to the ground below. b) South side of roof, west end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof while connected to ropes that were passing over/in contact with sheet metal roof brackets, and not protected from abrasion, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet 8 inches to a lower roof.
