29 CFR 1910.212(a)(2): Guard(s) on machine(s) were not affixed to the machine or secured elsewhere when attachment to the machine was not possible: a) On or about July 14, 2017 the employer had guards on the Angelus Seamers for lines 2- 13 that were not affixed to the machines. b) On or about July 14, 2017 the employer had guards for the drive motor belt and pulleys for the drum fillers on lines 2-13 that were hinged and not affixed to the machine. c) On or about July 7, 2017 a sanitation employee was cleaning a conveyor for Line #13 green bean canning line and was exposed to moving machine parts and in-going nip points while they cleaned the conveyor and did not shut down the equipment.
