29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i): The employer shall train each employee with occupational exposure in accordance with the requirements of this section. Such training must be provided at no cost to the employee and during working hours. The employer shall institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program: a. On or before August 23, 2017, at the workplace, the employer did not provide bloodborne pathogens training for all employees who had occupational exposure such as cleaning up blood spills and providing first aid. On or about June 21, 2017, members of the first responder team and other employees were exposed to blood when administering emergency medical care and cleaning up blood related to an employee amputation at the roller conveyor on line 11.
