29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: The results of wipe sampling indicate employees are exposed to lead ingestion hazards. Employees are allowed to eat and drink in the break rooms and at their works stations creating an ingestion hazard of lead. The employer has taken no action to provide a procedure or put a process in place to adequately remove lead from the surfaces where employees are authorized to eat and drink. There is no process or procedure in place to ensure the accumulations of lead is prevented. This was most recently documented on June 13, 2017 at Research Technologies located at 5295 300th Street Albany. (a) Employees are exposed to lead hazards of 19.8610 micrograms at the second story break room sink. (b) Employees are exposed to lead hazards of 61.4660 micrograms at building #4 wood workstation (c) Employees are exposed to lead hazards of 172.2000 micrograms at building #4 maroon workstation (d) Employees are exposed to lead hazards of 77.748 micrograms at the first floor break room sink (e) Employees are exposed to lead hazards of 21.7940 micrograms at the first floor break room table
