29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrical hazards associated with the strain relief on temporary flexible cords. The most recent occurrence of this was found at the facility located at 1310 Fort Crook Road North, Bellevue, NE where the employer has employees operating the equipment on bread bagger line #3 that are plugged in and pulling down on temporary cord causing strain relief issues where the receiving plug is pulling away from the wire insulation. The Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305 (g)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1211156, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/9/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2300 President Barack Obama Pkwy, Riviera Beach, FL 33404.
