29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a) Worksite (Exterior) - 22 Harmony Lane, Westbury, NY: Employees working from portable extension ladders performing tasks including, but not limited to, sheathing work were not provided with a training program which would enable the employees to recognize hazards related to ladders and train employees in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Employees were working from improperly set up ladders; on or about 5/1/17. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
