29 CFR 1910.1025(e)(1)(i): For any employees exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit for more than 30 days per year the employer did not implement engineering and work practice controls (including administrative controls) were not implemented to reduce and maintain employee exposure to lead : Lead Wave Solder Area; On or about 3/22/17, an employee working in the wave solder area was exposed to an 8-hr TWA of 0.2711 mg/m3 of lead, which is 5.4 times the PEL of 0.05 mg/m3. The employee performed tasks such as skimming lead dross off the pot, pouring the dross into the waste bucket and processing circuit boards through the machine. The wave solder machine is exhausted, however tasks such as cleaning the dross, carrying the open container and pouring it into the waste bucket are not.
