29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(3)(ii): Shower facilities, in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(3), were not provided for employee(s) exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit (PEL), without regard to the use of respirators. a) H Hansen Industries located on the Lewis J Kuber Barge docked at 600 Millard Avenue Oregon, OH, 43616, on or about March 24, 2017 the employer did not ensure that employees, conducting welding operations within the Lewis J Kuber barge and who were exposed to lead above the PEL without regards to the use of respirators were provided with shower facilities. Overexposure to lead can cause anemia, weakness, and kidney and brain damage.
