29 CFR 1926.552(b)(1)(i): Operating rules were not established and posted at the operator's station of the material hoist; a) On or about 09/19/16 at 375 Melville Street, Rochester, NY; the employer did not ensure rules were established preventing employees from climbing the material hoist to access the ladder jack scaffold. Employees climbed the power ladder (platform material hoist) to access the ladder jack pic scaffold on the west side of the house to remove the roofing around the eye brow area exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet and without any rules posted informing employees not to climb the power ladder. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
