29 CFR 1926.502(d): The employer used body belts as part of a personal fall arrest system: Note: The use of a body belt in a positioning device system is acceptable and is regulated under paragraph (e) of this section. (a) New residential construction located on Lot #3, Roof: On or about May 31, 2016, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees installing roofing materials to asphyxiation and fall hazards, in that; body belts were being used as part of a personal arrest system.
